Precise Biometrics' software for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile has been deployed in Oppo R17, integrated in an optical under-display fingerprint sensor. The integration has been carried out in cooperation with Silead, one of the fingerprint sensor suppliers to Oppo R17. Precise Biometrics projects the integration will generate some royalty revenue from the third quarter of 2018, which will be based on actual sales of fingerprint sensors that utilize Precise BioMatch Mobile.

R17 is Oppo's latest smartphone in the "R" series that was recently launched in China.
