The large size of the sensor (17x bigger than the previous generation and 9x bigger than the Qualcomm® 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2) enables a number of maximized features in combination with the advanced Precise BioMatch® algorithms:
- You can set up fingerprint unlocking by simply pressing the display just once.
- One of the fastest unlocking experiences in the mobile industry – 0.2 seconds.
- It reads two fingerprints simultaneously (increased security for Payment Applications).
- It scans fingerprints even when wet, by using technological advances and acoustics (ultrasonic waves) to scan 3D features.
