We are happy to share that our partnership with Biolog Device has enabled an integration of our BioMatch™ Embedded algorithm, in South Korea's top mobile carrier SK Telecom´s recently unveiled fingerprint recognition security key.
According to a press announcement , the key, named EzQuant, is based on quantum random number generation with many alternative generation methods, and is targeting e.g. defense, online administration, smart offices and financial services .
To ensure that the rightful user of the key is granted access to use the key, our BioMatch™ Embedded algorithm is used to authenticate the users fingerprints with high security, at the same time offering a good user experience.
SK Telecom has developed a quantum security solution using the smallest quantum random number generator chip to generate numbers encoded in a quantum state. A quantum key distributor delivers encoded data.
– Having Precise´s Fingerprint algorithm, BioMatch™ Embedded, integrated to Biologdevice's Finger print sensor and Fido2´s platform solution, which are adopted to South Korean biometric authentication startup and its products (EzFinger1/2 and recently unveiled EzQuant), is great news. We are always pleased to see our products add value to new, exciting use cases in the Korean market, says Sam Kim, Business Development Manager Korea, Precise Biometrics.
The security key is available in all web authentication services that provide FIDO authentication services and Windows Hello, a biometrics-based technology that enables Windows 10 users to authenticate secure access to their devices, apps, online services and networks with just a fingerprint.
