The 2019 annual report of Precise Biometrics has today been published on the company’s website.
Precise has entered into an agreement with Exeger – a Swedish company that develops and produces Powerfoyle, novel printable solar cells for use in consumer electronics, smart homes and other applications – for the installment of Precise YOUNiQ for facility access in Exeger’s premises. Precise YOUNiQ integrates facial recognition with the door access system to conveniently and securely grant access for employees and visitors to offices and restricted facilities.

Precise has entered into a partnership with Innovatrics, one of the leading biometric solutions providers in the world. Innovatrics will be the provider of face recognition technology to Precises products in the Digital Identity business area. The collaboration supports Precise ambition to deliver world-leading biometric identification software that makes people’s everyday lives easier.
Precise has successfully integrated passive liveness detection – in addition to facial recognition – to its identification software for access control systems. The technology behind the product is based on artificial intelligence, which confirms both the user’s identity and liveness through its unique facial features, and conveniently and securely grant access for the user.

Precise has signed a collaboration agreement with the leading biometric cryptography company Infinity Optics (“IO”), to develop secure identification software for fingerprint recognition based on so called true biometric hash technology. The technology enables identification without the need to store user’s reference image, minimizing the risks of identity fraud and data breaches.
In collaboration with the leading fingerprint sensor supplier Egis Technology (Egis), Precises’ software for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices – Precise BioMatch Mobile – has been deployed in a series of smartphones. The integration – in addition to the previous integration that was communicated on August 5th, 2019 – is expected to generate approximately 15 MSEK in revenue.
